Ciao a tutti!!! Oggi il programma del Super é continuato con i workshops.
Prima di dividerci in gruppi Vinu ci ha invitati a riflettere su come possiamo costruire il mondo unito; possiamo farlo imparando a vivere insieme, al di lá delle differenze di cultura e religione. Per fare questo é necessario avere una conoscenza profonda di sè stessi e di sè stessi in relazione con gli altri. Il passo successivo é riuscire a mettersi nei panni degli altri, cosí da poter essere in unitá con loro.
I workshop sono stati un’occasione per conoscersi di più e per prendere una maggiore consapevolezza della nostra responsabilità a trasformare il mondo insieme.

Giuse e Mattia – workshop dai 18 anni in su
E’ stato molto bello oggi riflettere su come relazionarsi con gli altri. Dopo una breve presentazione di noi stessi ci siamo divisi in piccoli gruppetti ed abbiamo risposto a delle domande per scoprire cosa condividiamo. Poi ci siamo messi “letteralmente nei panni l’uno dell’altro” scambiandoci le scarpe! É stato molto forte il momento in cui ci siamo detti come farci uno con “le emozioni” di chi ci sta vicino: sia nei momenti di gioia che di dolore.

Mi chiamo Claire, ho 14 anni e oggi ero nel gruppo d’eta’ dai 14 ai 15 anni. Tutti insieme abbiamo fatto diversi giochi che avevano lo scopo di farci scoprire meglio noi stessi e di darci la chiave per riuscire a conoscere meglio chi ci sta accanto. E’ stata tutta una preparazione per la visita ai villaggi, messa in programma per domani. Mi e’ piaciuto molto parlare con persone che non conoscevo e scoprire cio’ che abbiamo in commune. Ho imparato che nonostante le distanze che ci separano l’uno dall’altro, il colore della nostra pelle, la nostra origine o cultura, possiamo sempre trovare qualcosa che ci accomuna!
Vidisha & Vivian
Questa mattina alle h10 ci siamo divisi in workshop, per riflettere sul tema “Imparariamo a Vivere Insieme”. E’ stato fantastico! Una meravigliosa opportunita’ per ascoltarci l’un l’altra, condividendo esperienze ed idée. Abbiamo imparato a rispettarci reciprocamente, ad amare, ad essere attenti ai bisogni degli altri e a condividere di piu’ i nostri beni.
Domani andremo nei villaggi dove cercheremo di mettere in pratica cio’ che abbiamo imparato oggi. Sicuramente sara’ una bella esperienza!

Peace Festival
ITALIANO
La nostra giornata è cominciata molto presto per poter trascorrere il maggior tempo possibile in compagnia delle famiglie di Coimbatore che ci hanno ospitato.
Vivere per mezza giornata con loro, completamente immersi nella cultura indiana è stata un’esperienza indimenticabile....è usanza togliersi le scarpe prima di entrare in casa e così abbiamo fatto anche noi! Il pranzo, riso, pulao, dal, verdura, yoghurt, fried cabbage, nuggets, gilabi pickels, sambhar, dosas, kheer…tutto servito su una foglia di banano, un’ occasione d’oro per farsi uno. Alcuni di noi sono stati a visitare il tempio Indu a loro più vicino, altri la moschea. Una sacralità di atti, di preghiere, che manifestano il grande spirito mistico di questo popolo.
Verso le 4 ci siamo tutti ritrovati presso l’Università per Donne Avinashilingam per il Coimbatore Peace Festival.
Speriamo che le foto riescano ad esprimere questo momento straordinario. Tutti insieme, Ragazzi per l’unità, studentesse dell’Università e tutti gli ospiti arrivati per l’occasione (in tutti circa 1600) dopo una preghiera comune all’aperto, abbiamo fatto il Patto di impegnarci a vivere per la pace e ad alimentarla.
Ci siamo poi raccolti nell’auditorium per ascoltare parole importanti di leaders politici e religiosi come quelle del dott. Alan Nazareth che, quando ha citato la frase di Ghandi “Prendi le posizioni della Verità rimandendo nell’amore”, ha mezionato le Beatitudini di Gesù.
Il pomeriggio è continuato con un’ondata di emozioni diverse, dai ringraziamenti e riconoscimenti ufficiali alle musiche e danze indiane, tradizionali e moderne che hanno fatto vibrare la sala all’unisono!

Our day started very early as we wanted to spend as much time as possible with the families of
Some visited a local Hindu temple, whereas some of us visited a mosque with our hosting families. There we experienced the solemn acts of prayers, which manifested itself as the mystic spirit of these people.

The afternoon continued with waves of diverse emotions and experiences as thanksgivings and official awards were presented to many. Traditional and contemporary Indian dances and music were performed, causing the hall to vibrate with the force and colours of the dances!

Notre journée a commencé très tôt pour pouvoir passer la majeure partie de notre temps en compagnie des familles de Coimbatore qui ont accepté de nous accueillir.
Vivre pendant une demi-journée avec eux, complètement immergés dans la culture indienne, a été une expérience inoubliable…S’ils posaient leurs chaussures avant d’entrer chez eux, nous le faisions aussi! Le repas (riz, pualo, dal, légumes, yoghourt, chou frit, nuggets, gilabi pickels, sambhar, dosas, kheer…) servi sur une feuille de banane, était une occasion en or pour nous faire un avec ceux qui nous ont accueillis. Quelques-uns d’entre nous sont allés visiter le temple hindou le plus proche, d’autres la mosquée. C’était un moment sacré, compose de rites et de prières, qui manifestait le coté mystique de ce peuple.
Vers 4 heures, nous nous sommes retrouvés à l’Avisnashilingam, Université pour femmes, qui accueillait le Festival pour la Paix de Coimbatore.
Espérons que les photos réussiront à exprimer ce moment extraordinaire !
Apres une prière en commun sur les marches d’un temple hindou, tous ensemble, Juniors pour un monde uni, étudiantes de l’Université ainsi que tous les invités venus pour l’occasion (1600 personnes au total), nous avons pris l’engagement de vivre pour la Paix et de la diffuser.
Nous nous sommes ensuite réunis dans l’auditorium pour écouter d’importants leaders politiques et religieux. Parmi eux, Alan Nazareth, ancien ambassadeur de l’Inde et président du mouvement gandhien Sarvodaya, nous a particulièrement interpellés quand il a cité la phrase de Gandhi : « Prends position pour la Vérité en restant dans l’amour ».
Il a ensuite parle des béatitudes de Jésus.
L’après-midi a continué avec un déferlement de vitalité, de couleurs, de rythmes, passant des remerciements chaleureux aux danses indiennes traditionnelles et modernes qui ont fait vibrer la salle à l’unisson.

In the afternoon Sports for Peace team organized games for all of us. It was a chance to meet those we hadn’t met before, and though we come from different cultures and don’t speak the same languages, we were able to live out the golden rule through team working and sports.
At 4 o’clock the programme resumed with more dancing, singing and enthusiasm. The standard of performances got higher and higher and it was visible through the effort the young people had made in their practices that they are committed to building a united world.
The experiences of breaking down religious barriers given by Sikh gen from Ireland and a Muslim gen from the Philippines were particularly moving. The day ended with a bang, as the Indian gen accompanied by flag bearers and some European gen danced to an encore ‘Follow the Light’. Thank you for all your unity, you were all here with us!

Et voila, le Supercongres a réellement commencé ! Cette après-midi a été riche en émotions. Nous avons expérimenté que nos différences faisaient nos richesses. C’est tellement difficile de décrire ce qu’on a vécu. Pleins de sourires, de rencontres, de langues différentes, de coutumes et… costumes !
L’après-midi a commencé par un moment sportif : imaginez 1500 personnes qui jouent ensemble, un beau défi ! Le direct Internet a repris ensuite dans l’auditorium. Chaque pays s’est exprimé par des danses ou des chants et des expériences racontant comment ils construisent un monde uni. Entre autre, trois enfants du Shanti Ashram nous ont fait part de ce qu’ils vivent pour les enfants pauvres et l’écologie.
La chorégraphie finale a réuni tout le monde dans un climat euphorique, toutes les barrières sont tombées, nous étions tous unis, au delà des langues ou pays et traditions. Apres la fin du direct, un moment de joie avec des échanges, des photos, signatures .
Nous nous sommes ensuite retrouvés pour la messe, en même temps qu’un moment de prière pour les autres religions. Ca a été l’occasion de remercier Dieu ensemble et de lire les nombreux messages qui sont arrivés par le blog.
L’aventure continue, on vous porte très fort dans notre cœur et on vous dit « À bientôt ! »

Alle 16.00 e` ricominciata la diretta live del supercongresso 2009, dopo una pausa dedicata al pranzo e ai giochi, occasione speciale per conoscere ragazzi di ogni parte del mondo e diventare insieme sempre piu` una cosa sola.
Il programma e` continuato affrontando i temi dell’amore in situazioni di dolore, del dialogo interreligioso e della diffusione della Regola d’oro.
Particolarmente toccante e` stato il video-messaggio di Chiara, cosi` adatto al contesto che sembrava che lei stessa ci stesse parlando dal palco. Ci esortava a vivere concretamente, a fatti, la Regola d’oro, per superare le differenze di cultura e religione e realizzare il mondo unito.
E` stata una continua esplosione di gioia espressa da coreografie indiane e contributi dal Brasile, dall’Egitto, dall’Austria, da Honk Kong, dalla Terra Santa e dal Libano.
La conclusione dell’evento e` stata emozionante: l’unione dei popoli e` stata rappresentata da un balletto classico eseguito da una ragazza francese e una ragazza indiana insieme sul palco.
Tutti hanno comiciato a ballare sui passi delle muische del super e l’allegria e la gioia contagiavano tutti e erano incontenibili.

In questi giorni il nostro lavoro e’ consisitito nell’accogliere e seguire tutti i ragazzi arrivati per il supercongresso. E` stata molto dura e abbiamo dovuto lavorare molto. Oggi, pero`, mi sento felicissima di aver participatao a questa manifestazione perche` e` un’ occasione unica per il nostro college e per ognuno di noi di entrare in contatto e stringere amicizia con persone di tutte le parti del mondo. In questo modo sto imparando tante cose che non avrei mai avuto occasione di conoscere.
Annamaria, 15 anni, Bangalore – India“Ero impegnata nella coreografia delle musiche del Supercongresso. Abbiamo iniziato a lavorarci da tanto tempo e le prove sono state lunghe e spesso stancanti. Abbiamo anche rinunciato, per esempio, al nostro tempo libero durante le vacanze. Gia` durante le prove, pero`, abbiamo cercato di vivere la regola d’ oro , anche perche` dovevamo riuscire a trasmettere questo messaggio attraverso i nostri passi. Non sapevamo chi ci saremmo trovati di fronte ed e` stato bello scoprire una sala intera impegnata come noi nel mettere l’altro al primo posto. Il super si e` rivelato ancor meglio di quanto ci aspettassimo! E adesso non vediamo l’ora di partecipare al prossimo!! “
Gen della Terra Santa“Siamo entusiaste di questo superconresso a cui abbiamo potuto partecipare solo dopo tante difficolta` per ottenere i visti. Da noi l’unita` e` davvero necessaria e crediamo che con la Regola d’oro possiamo, a comiciare dalle nostre vite, riportare la pace tra Ebrei, Cristiani e Musulmani. “
Segolene , 17 anni, Fancia“ Ho potuto contribuire al Supercongresso nella danza finale insieme ad una ballerina indiana. Ballare insieme e` stata un’ emozione fortissima. Le nostre danze erano molto diverse, ma abbiamo sperimentato che la diversita` puo` dare vita all’armonia e non allo scontro se ci si pone con rispetto e con amore nei confronti dell’altro.”

Gen della Terra Santa“Siamo entusiaste di questo superconresso a cui abbiamo potuto partecipare solo dopo tante difficolta` per ottenere i visti. Da noi l’unita` e` davvero necessaria e crediamo che con la Regola d’oro possiamo, a comiciare dalle nostre vite, riportare la pace tra Ebrei, Cristiani e Musulmani. “
Segolene , 17 anni, Fancia“ Ho potuto contribuire al Supercongresso nella danza finale insieme ad una ballerina indiana. Ballare insieme e` stata un’ emozione fortissima. Le nostre danze erano molto diverse, ma abbiamo sperimentato che la diversita` puo` dare vita all’armonia e non allo scontro se ci si pone con rispetto e con amore nei confronti dell’altro.”

Finally the day has arrived, and we are halfway through our Supercongress! It has been a fantastic morning so far, and you can really feel the Golden Rule coming alive in everyone. As one of the Teens for Unity said onstage “Together with all of you we would like to show the world, that Unity is possible.”
There were around 2000 people in the congress and at least 250 of those present were Gen 3. The congress opened with a peaceful inter-religious moment and then the MCs took over presenting the various countries through a SHOW of flags followed by choreographies, songs, dances and experiences of the different countries. The Gen from Bombay brought such amazing energy to the event, with enthusiastic renditions of the Supercongress theme song; ‘Follow the Light’ and the bouncy number entitled ‘Reach Out.’ Experiences about preparations to get here to India were also shared; Sam and Eleanor from England spoke of the various sacrifices they had to make just to get here and some Indian girls said how they managed to postpone their exams in order to come. Another particularly moving moment was when Pascal from New Zealand told us about how he met the Focolare, and how he practiced using the Golden Rule. The Gen from USA gave us a spectacularly intricate stomping choreography, and the song ‘Golden Light’ sung by the Teens for Unity from Ireland hit a favorable note with everyone. The contributions of the youth from the Shanti Ashram were a luminous expression of the beauty of this country and each of their words were so much in tune with ours. The message of Maria Emmaus Voce was truly coming alive and taking shape as a reality in the hall – “ Do unto other whatever you would have them do to you…this is the secret that will allow you to find happiness and then bring it to others.” After a short presentation of the gifts of specially designed artistic post cards and stamps to Nadia, Agostino, youth members of the Focolare and dignitaries of India who had made a particular contribution to the event from Vinu of Shanti Ashram, the Congress closed for lunch, and will resume its live link up with the rest of the globe at 4pm Indian time.

Ca y est c’est parti ! 750 jeunes des écoles de Coimbatore nous ont rejoints avec leurs uniformes pour vivre avec nous toute la journée du Supercongres. La « band » a tout de suite chauffé la salle avec plusieurs chansons écrites spécialement pour l’occasion. Le direct d’Internet commence par la chorégraphie des drapeaux, des Etats-Unis à la Nouvelle Zélande, du Brésil à la Croatie, de la Turquie à l’Afrique du Sud… Les danses indiennes nous ont immergés dans la culture locale débordante d’énergie et de couleurs. Les expériences s’alternent entre les danses et les discours des personnalités : ils nous encouragent à porter cette culture de paix autour de nous et à vivre la Règle d’or « fait aux autres ce que tu voudrais qu’on te fasse ». Le directeur de la poste du Tamil Nadu est venu nous remettre les timbres édités spécialement pour l’occasion. Maintenant nous allons retrouver nos équipes pour le déjeuner avec qui nous ferons des jeux cet après midi pour apprendre à se connaître et vivre l’art d’aimer.
On se revoit à la transmission de 12 heures 30 heure française, (13h30 Liban), et 16 heures heure locale.

Finalmente, il grande giorno è arrivato e siamo nel pieno del Supercongresso! Fin’ora e` stata una mattinata fantastica e si puo` davvero vedere la Regola d’Oro che diventa vita in ognuno. Come uno dei ragazzi per l’unita` ha detto sul palco “Insieme a tutti voi vorremmo mostrare al mondo che l’unita` e` possibile. ”
C’erano circa 2000 persone di cui almeno 250 erano Gen3.
Il congresso si e` aperto con un momento interreligioso per la pace, seguita dalla presentazione dei paesi presenti attraverso una sfilata di bandiere e poi da numerose coreografie, danze, canzoni, esperienze proposte dai diversi paesi.
Accenniamo ad alcuni interventi....
I gen di Bombay hanno mostrato un’eccezionale energia cantando le colonne sonore del supercongresso “Follow the light” e “Reach Out”.
Abbiamo condiviso esperienze sulla preparazione e i passi fatti per venire qui in India, sulla Regola d`oro e su come ci impegnamo a viverla.
Le diverse testimonianze si alternavano a danze e canti preparati dall’America del Nord, dall’Irlanda, dalle Filippine, da Trento.
Anche i ragazzi dello Shanti Ashram hanno contribuito con le loro danze tradizionali a dare una splendida immagine del loro paese e ognuna delle loro parole era davvero in sintonia con le nostre.
Il messaggio di maria Emmaus Voce ha davvero preso vita e forma come realta` nella sala – “Fai agli altri quello che vorresti fosse fatto a te ... questo e` il segreto che ti permettera` di trovare la felicita` e di portarla agli altri”.
Sono intervenute diverse personalita` indiane e in particolare Minoti Aram, fondatrice dello Shanti Ashram insieme al marito, il dott. M. Aram, e attuale presidente, che ha salutato ed incoraggiato all’unita` tutti i ragazzi presenti.
Alla fine della mattinata Vinu ha consegnato delle cartoline create per l’evento ad alcuni degli organizzatori, tra cui anche Nadia ed Agostino.
Il programma riprendera` questo pomeriggio alle 16.00, ora locale, con aspettative altrettanto entusiasmanti.

The Super congress ceremony was an amazing one, great to start off such an amazing and unique experience. It was colorful, fun, exciting and really uplifting. From these performances, I really felt how lucky and privileged I was to be here in India. I hope that the afternoon session will be as fun and enjoyable and that I will be able to look back on this as a great experience of my life. I think that now that I have seen how passionate all these people are, I can take that enthusiasm home to Australia, to unite all the Gen 3s who could not make it here.

L`apertura del Supercongresso e` stata entusiasmante, un modo perfetto di iniziare un’esperienza tanto unica ed emozionante. E` stato ricco di colori, divertente. Da queste performance ho capito quanto sono privilegiato e fortunato ad essere qui in India. Spero che la parte del pomeriggio sia altrettanto divertente e piacevole e che io possa ricordarla come una delle esperienze piu` belle della mia vita. Penso che dopo aver visto quanta passione tutti ci mettano qui, posso portare quest`entusiasmo a casa in Australia per coinvolgere tutti i Gen3 che non sono riusciti a venire.

Francesco – La realtà più vera che ho sperimentato questa mattina nell’auditorium è stata l’unità tra tutti noi ragazzi. Lo scambio reciproco di canzoni, musiche e coreografie sono state un veicolo per comunicare l’un l’altro i doni delle nostre culture, lingue e religioni ed allo stesso tempo “celebrare” il comune entusiasmo ed impegno a vivere per l’unità.

The reciprocal exchange of songs, music and dances was a vehicle for communicating to each other the gifts of our cultures, languages and religions and at the same time a celebration of our common enthusiasm and commitment to live for unity.
Maria Chiara - Now that the first part of the Congress is over I feel full of a new found enthusiasm to continue this magnificent experience.
The performances of the young people along with the words of the various leaders, which communicated to us all their joy and determination was felt so strongly.
It was and is a unique occasion for convincing both oneself and everyone that a united world is possible.

Ormai il Supercongresso è alle porte e, qui a Coimbatore, il Kumaraguru College of Technology si è riempito di ragazzi di tutte le parti del mondo.
Oggi abbiamo cominciato la giornata alla grande: alle 9.30 eravamo tutti nell’auditorium, gen e giovani dello Shanti Ashram per l’inaugurazione del Supercongresso.
Sono intervenuti gli organizzatori di entrambi i movimenti per salutare ed accogliere tutti i presenti ma soprattutto per testimoniare l’unità costruita già nel corso di tutta la preparazione del Supercongresso. Erano presenti anche rappresentanti del Kumaraguru College e del sindaco di Coimbatore.
Le parole di Vinu (Shanti Ashram) e Nadia (Ragazzi per l’unità) hanno espresso quello che ognuno di noi ha in cuore: il mondo unito è già presente fra noi.
Un momento molto significativo è stata l’accensione della fiaccola per l’apertura di questo evento secondo la tradizione indù.
Oggi però, quella fiamma ha anche simboleggiato l’amore reciproco necessario per costruire l’unità con tutti. Il logo del Supercongresso vuole esprimere proprio questa realtà.
Il ritmo della musica, l’incrocio dei colori, la gioia e l’entusiasmo di tutti ci hanno fatto assaporare quello che sarà domani.
Oggi la giornata continua tra prove e momenti di sport fra tutti.

The Supercongress is just around the corner, and here in Coimbatore the Kumaraguru College of Technology is filling up with young people from all over the world.
There was a great start to the day: at 9:30 we were all in the auditorium, gen and young people from the Shanti Ashram for the inauguration of the Supercongress.
The organisers of both movements were on the stage to greet and welcome everybody but above all to witness to the unity built during all the preparation. Representatives of the Kumaraguru College and the Mayor of Coimbatore were also present.
The words of Vinu (Shanti Ashram) and Nadia (Teens for Unity) expressed what each of us have in our hearts: the united world is already present among us.
A very significant moment was the lighting of the lamp for the opening of this event according to Hindu tradition.
Today however, this lamp has also symbolised the mutual love needed to build unity with everyone. The logo of the Supercongress wishes to express this same reality.
The rhythm of the music, the variety of the colours and everyone’s joy and enthusiasm gave us a taste of what will take place tomorrow.
Today the day continues with rehearsals and sport among everybody.

Désormais le supercongres est en train de commencer et, ici a Coimbatore, le Kumaraguru College of Technology se rempli d’adolescents du monde entier.
Aujourd’hui nous avons commencé une très bonne journée, à 9 heures 30 nous étions tous dans l’auditorium, les gen et les adolescents du Shanti Ashram, pour l’inauguration du Supercongres.
Sont intervenus les organisateurs des deux mouvements pour saluer et accueillir tous les personnes présentes mais surtout pour témoigner l’unité construite déjà au cours de la préparation du supercongres. Il était présent les représentants du Kumaraguru College et le maire de Coimbatore.
Les paroles de Vinu et Nadia ont dit ce que chacun de nous a dans le cœur : le monde uni est déjà présent entre nous.
Le moment le plus significatif a été lorsqu’on a allumé les bougies pour l’ouverture de cet événement selon la tradition indou.
Aujourd’hui cependant cette flamme a aussi symbolisée l’amour réciproque nécessaire pour construire l’unité avec tous. Le logo du Supercongres veut en effet exprimer cette réalité.
Le rythme de la musique, la variété des couleurs, la joie et l’enthousiasme de tous nous ont fait entrevoir ce que sera demain.
